Joanna’s first experience of EFT happened when her life suddenly changed and she struggled to overcome the issues that this change had caused. During recovery Joanna delved into EFT and went on to learn techniques that helped with the road to emotional recovery. The techniques Joanna learnt were so successful that friends and family began asking how EFT could help them with their own emotional challenges. This motivated her to become an EFT practitioner and turn these newfound skills into a full-time career within three months of qualifying.
Recognising that EFT could have a profound impact in schools, using a lifetimes of prior knowledge Joanna set about developing a programme to help students back into the classroom and the "Tap, Tap Happy Programme" was born. This programme is now being used to help children and young people who struggle to deal with a variety of emotional issues, including coping with the school day, managing their own emotions and thriving in the classroom. The "Tap, Tap Happy Programme" has successfully given many of the children Joanna works with the tools to cope with these problems and is empowering them to deal with life in the modern world.
